Ngapali beach stretches for 3km along the northern coast with beautiful white sands and the clear waters of the Bay of Bengal. There are luxury resorts and appealing guesthouses, and delicious seafood caught fresh each day by local fishermen. It is easily reached by air from Yangon and Heho.
A perfect place to relax, and perhaps to end your holiday in Myanmar.
Explore by boat the fishing villages along the Kalatan River, including Mrauk-U, a city with hundreds of temples and surrounding Chin villages scattered along the river with peanut, chilli and bean farms located on islands or the riverside. You might meet elderly Chin women with tattooed faces – although this traditional practice has now ended.
